Ironworks Hotel has a motto: “A hard day’s work deserves a soft place to lay your head.” The plush Tempur Sealy beds certainly provide that, allowing guests to get the rest they need to recharge and enjoy the next day.
Isbell-Williams slept on a Stearns & Foster® mattress at the Ironworks Hotel in Wisconsin before the Indianapolis location opened. It passed her quality test, and she knows her guests love the mattress too when they ask her where they can purchase one of their own.
Whether they’re refreshing under the rainforest showerheads, relaxing on their comfortable bed after a long day or enjoying a glass of champagne, guests are surrounded by luxury. Every part of the hotel—from the architecture to the mattresses—was made with guests at top of mind.
From her first hotel job as a front-desk clerk to her current role as the general manager of the new Ironworks Hotel in Indianapolis, Amy Isbell-Williams has always had a knack for connecting with guests and creating memorable experiences—and that’s been her main focus since the luxury boutique hotel opened last September.
Like its sister hotel in Wisconsin, Ironworks Hotel Indy draws its design inspiration from America’s industrial heritage. Reclaimed barn wood, reused piping, Edison bulbs, custom artwork created from paper-mill molds, and a repurposed World War II-era crane that serves as the porte-cochère are among the design elements that transport guests back in time. As they take in the beautiful 19th-century décor, guests are also treated to an exclusive scent that’s unique to Ironworks and other Geronimo Hospitality Group properties, helping them relax as soon as their stay begins.
Isbell-Williams prides herself on anticipating her guests’ every need, and her efforts don’t go unnoticed. Guests rave about the amenities offered in their luxurious rooms, especially the spa-like bathrooms and the first-class Tempur Sealy mattresses they can fall into at the end of the day. And if past guests make a reservation when they return to Indianapolis, Isbell-Williams knows she’s given them an experience no other hotel can duplicate.
